So this one is a bit special to us as our family once owned a home on Forman ave for a VERY LONG time, but with time...comes change and that home has welcomed a new family! :)

So what's so special about this thoroughfare you ask? well...it's famous of course! at least to us that is. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that you might of heard of the classic horror movie called The Amityville Horror. St Peter's Church (newly renovated and beautifully done btw) was used in this movie as well as Pleasure Park right across the street.

Forman avenue is also dotted with some very cool vintage boarding homes that have entertained travelers from all over the country visiting the Jersey shore, some still standing today. The one that stands out the most to us is The Tower Cottage B&B, I still remember walking by when I was younger and staring up at the tower like structure wondering what was up there!

The history list continues with The Little Silver Lake which runs along part of Forman avenue and was part of our backyard, we spent hours and hours fishing trying to land the big one but usually fought with the eels! Ever hear of eel races?! yuk! We also spent time paddling around in our rubber raft (won at the boardwalk of course!)...speaking of boats, I still remember walking around the lake to check out the the Power Boats that were put on display for the Benihana Grand Prix. Good times.
